Gymnastics On The Grand
12-5-10:  A grand beginning for the entire team rapidly appeared early this December as the Flames boys and girls drove to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the Gymnastics On The Grand meet hosted by Grand Rapids Gymnastics.  The DeVos Center was an excellent venue for this early invitational.  800+ gymnasts worked through a bit of early rust in preparation for "shooting the rapids" of the 2011 season stretch.
     Many fantastic performances, and some not so fantastic :) - too many to mention with any fairness.  Congrats to the Optional Event Finalists - L9's Amanda Holderby, Holly Manter and Jessica Leverenz - L8's Mackenzie Shell and Rita Koenigbauer.  Also congrats to the Teams - Level 7's 2nd, Level 6's 2nd, Level 5's 2nd and Level 4's 1st!  Great job.
