cross training  classes/clinics are designed to help our students develop some of the physical advantages possessed by gymnastic athletes.  By utilizing gymnastic elements/apparatus, along with strength and flexibility training, our students improve their overall athleticism and gain more self-confidence, aiding them in the pursuit of other passions.  Classes are designed for entire-session athletic training, while Clinics are pay-as-you-go skill development/enhancement opportunities.

Flames Firepower Classes are designed to aid your child in improving his/her overall athleticism.  Each class targets specific physical needs common to most athletic activities by utilizing gymnastic movements & apparatus.  Students will spend time stretching (static & dynamic), aerobic work (cardio), and strength building.

The All American Tumbling class is designed for those with a dedicated interest in gymnastic tumbling skills.  These low-ratio classes are focused on taking each students current tumbling abilities and correctly improving them through weekly workouts with a dedicated Flames Instructor.  Geared for both boys and girls,  this class would benefit cheerleaders, dancers, divers, martial artists, or anyone interested in gymnastics tumbling.  Beginning students develop round-offs, unassisted back-handsprings, and walk-overs.  Advanced students develop tucks, pikes, layouts & twisting.

The All American Tumbling clinic is designed for those students looking for the best place to work on their tumbling skills.  This Open-Workout format allows individuals to drop-in and workout at their own pace under the supervision of a Flames Instructor.  Tumbling is the focus and the Flames Instructor is there to offer advice.

AAFG's friendly mascot FlickerFlicker opens his playground for all his older friends to come and play.  A great opportunity for current and former students to workout, or play, at our gymnastics facility.  Our scheduled Flames Instructor oversees the Playnastix activities, ready to lend a hand or to help extinguish questions.  We welcome current/former AAFG students, and those from other gyms.

NEW OPEN GYM POLICY
(effective Feb 1, 2010)

In lieu of the unexpected success of our Flix’ Playnastix (Open Gym) All American Flames is reviewing and updating our Open Gym Policies in an effort to maintain a high level of safety & satisfaction for our customers. These new policies go into effect immediately – with the understanding that these new changes will likely take a couple weeks to filter down to our entire customer base.

The following denotes Updated Policies:  Age Limit is 5-14 yrs.

1- Attendance Limit. We are imposing an Attendance Limit of 150 participants. This does NOT include our current Travel Team Athletes. Our Attendance Limit is subject to change, as we feel necessary.
2- First Come First Serve. Pre-registration will begin the Monday of the upcoming Open Gym. You must register (with payment) in order to secure your spot. This is NON-Refundable! We will accept Pre-Registration in-person or over-the-phone with a valid Credit Card. In the likely event that all spots are not filled via pre-registration, you may “drop-in” to participate – however, you WILL BE TURNED AWAY if All American Flames reaches our Attendance Limit! We are currently considering viable ways of conveniently communicating our Attendance Limit (i.e. Outside Signage, Online Website, Phone Message). Due to the demand on our personnel during Open Gym check-in, you may receive a busy-signal or our answering machine if calling us to check the Attendance Limit.
